Making the Move

Isn't moving just putting one foot in front of the other until you are no longer standing where you stood?  Sounds simple enough. . .until you are packing box after box, touching everything you own, trying to decide if a particular piece of china, or trinket needs to make this journey with you.

The decision get harder as those items with sentimental attachment pull at your heartstrings. . .gifts from loved ones, or even a wedding veil with its faded lace and tiny pearls that was hidden away in an old floral hatbox.  The memories tugging and pulling as you touch each piece, but isn't that all they are. . .memories?  How will discarding the item take away a memory?  Suddenly, you know the answer, and your heart at last feels comfort.
